Our story

Two women, two cultures, one big table.

Heart to Harvest was founded by Kira, a proud Quandamooka woman, and Jaz, the daughter of an immigrant with Filipino heritage. Two backgrounds, one shared belief: good food should be done properly, and a business should give back to the community it's part of.

We care deeply about food security in regional communities, and it's something we want to contribute to as we grow. We'd rather show that over time than promise it today.

The crew

The people behind every platter.

A team of around 20 chefs, kitchen and event crew, backed by an accredited food safety program, two delivery vehicles and a trusted courier network. Real people who get to know your team, your venue and your dietaries.

Why partner with us

Community first. Then catering.

Before we think about what we can offer you, we ask what we can give back. Partnering with us is about building something together — and it often starts with a meeting you were already planning.

01

Community comes first

Every partnership starts with one question: what can we contribute? The people and places around us are at the centre of how we grow.

02

Joining the dots

Never thought about an Indigenous caterer? It’s easier than you think — the morning tea, conference or end-of-year party you’re already planning is a great place to start.

03

Lifting others with us

We buy from local Indigenous businesses and growers, so the good flows on well past our kitchen.

04

More than an order

We love your day-to-day orders — and we can be so much more. Through partnership, we can show up together in all kinds of ways, from your next event to the community moments that matter.

Working within a supplier or procurement framework? We're Supply Nation registered and happy to help with whatever your team needs to get us on board.

Ways to partner

You're probably already doing this — just not with us yet.

Catering touches more of your year than you'd think. Here are a few places we fit right in.

Your go-to on the supplier list
Think of every time someone in your organisation googles “catering near me”. Put us on your preferred supplier list or panel and that search is already done — for every team, every time.
The office that eats well
Board meetings, Monday stand-ups, the training day nobody wants to plan lunch for. A regular arrangement means your people are fed well, with one team that already knows your space and your dietaries.
Programs that run every day
Training facilities, multi-day programs, seven-day meal services. We plan, prepare and deliver at volume, and adjust when numbers move, week in, week out.
The days you plan for
The conference, the launch, NAIDOC Week, International Women’s Day — the events that take real thought. We bring curated menus, on-the-day coordination and a crew who sweats the detail, so you can focus on the occasion.
A partner for venues & agencies
We slot in alongside your team — flexible, reliable and across the detail from menu design to service. Your clients get food and hospitality that lifts the whole event, and you get one less thing to worry about.
Gifts worth giving
End-of-year thank yous, welcome packs, client gifts. Small-batch native-ingredient goodies, like our lemon myrtle macadamia dukkah — made with care and genuinely good to eat.
Where our food comes from

Strengthening local and Indigenous supply chains.

We work with local Indigenous businesses and growers to source native ingredients, and we look for ways to bring more of them into our supply chain as we grow.

Indigenous suppliers — local First Nations businesses and growers.
Native ingredients — contemporary menus, with care for cultural integrity.
Seasonal produce — fresh, local and planned around what's good right now.

Food service, run for you

Got a kitchen that needs a crew? We'll run it.

Community canteens, school tuckshops, venue cafés, staff kitchens — if you've got people to feed every day and no one to run it, we can take it on. Menus, staffing, ordering, food safety: handled, so you can get back to what you do best.

Already doing it Since February 2025 we've run a seven-day food service for a training facility — breakfast to dinner, snacks and coffee, for 40 to 160 people a day.
Numbers that move Busy weeks, quiet weeks, last-minute changes. We plan around real demand, so there's enough food and less waste.
Everyone catered for Allergies, medical diets, cultural and religious needs, built into the menu from day one.
Safe and accountable An accredited food safety program, with the paperwork ready for your procurement or compliance team.
“Heart to Harvest is always a pleasure to work with. Adaptable and tailored catering that is perfect for all event types. Highly recommend.”
